Knitting pattern for a felted hat in organic yarn.

A cute, warm hat that is a fast knit. The hat is worked on large needles and then felted in the washing machine. Knitted in the most beautiful GOTS certified wool and alpaca, or other brands of chunky yarn that can felt. An easy knitting project for new knitters, or a fast and fun project for experienced knitters.

Materials:
Artic, 70% GOTS Virgin Wool, 30% GOTS alpaca, 75 m pr. 50 g
Color: Artic, color gray: 100 g

Knit through the entire work with one strand.

Guiding needle size 9 / US 13.

Gauge
7 sts and 7 rows in pattern on needle size 9 / US 13 = 10 cm x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches

Directions
The hat is knitted back and forth from the bottom up, in one piece. Decreases are made for the top of the hat and the hat is sewn together. The hat is then felted in the washing machine and pulled into shape.
